Mark Yates has confirmed that striker Dean Sturridge will not be staying on with the club for the new Blue Square Premier 2007/08 season.
Sturridge joined the club last summer on a one-year deal and featured in six games before suffering a severe Achilles injury in early September, which brought a premature end to his playing season.
He continued to assist Yates and Neil Howarth with coaching duties for the remainder of last season.
"It didn't work out as we would have liked with Dean on the playing side of things last season and it was a massive shame with the serious injury he picked up," Yates told harriers.co.uk today.
"But he was a massive help in the dressing room and around the club on the coaching side of things and we wish him all the best for the future." Kidderminster
