Queens Park Rangers Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Wigan Athletic defender Fitz Hall.
The 27 year-old passed a medical last night and put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal in W12 this morning, after the two Clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, the former Crystal Palace and Southampton defender expressed his delight at the transfer, commenting: "The ambition of the new owners really impressed me.
"They are successful businessmen in their own right and they want to bring success to Queens Park Rangers Football Club.
"I had a chat with Mikele (Leigertwood) and Dexter (Blackstock) and they both spoke in glowing terms about the Club and the direction in which it is heading."
Hall added: "Moving back to London was a massive attraction for me.
"I was born and raised here and I've got two young kids who I want to bring up in similar surroundings to those I was brought up in.
"It's a really exciting move for me and I can't wait to get started."
Hall, who moved to Wigan in a £3 million move in June 2006 and made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Latics, will wear squad number 29. QPR

FITZ HALL JOINS QUEENS PARK RANGERS
Latics defender Fitz Hall has joined Queens Park Rangerson a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Lonbdoner Hall, who turned 27 on December 20th, was in London this week to discuss personal terms on a 4 and a half year deal, after the clubs agreed the fee.
Fitz joined the club in the summer of 2006 from Crystal Palace and has been allowed to leave after failing to hold down a consistent place in the first team squad this season.
Last season he enjoyed several runs in Paul Jewell's team, starting the first five games, and playing eleven consecutive matches over December and January, but both runs were halted by a series of niggling injuries. This season, under Steve Bruce, he has made only the one appearance in the Barclays Premier League, as a substitute for the injured Mario Melchiot at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
Steve Bruce said: "Fitz is a good pro. I know it's heard when you're not in the team but Fitz has always conducted himself professionally and he goes with everyone's best wishes."
Hall made 28 appearances for Wigan Athletic in all competitions, 25 of them in the Barclays Premier League. Wigan

Former Barnet trainee Fitz Hall made his professional debut for Oldham Athletic in April 2002.
The defender impressed to such a degree that he earned himself a move to Southampton in a £250,000 transfer, before Crystal Palace swooped for his services in a £1.5 million move in August 2004.
Hall quickly became a permanent fixture in the Eagles' defensive line-up in both their Premiership campaign of 2004/05 and their Championship campaign the following season.
After making 81 appearances in all competitions at Selhurst Park, Hall returned to the top-flight with Wigan Athletic for £3 million in June 2006, penning a four-year deal.
Hall made 24 Premiership appearances with Latics during his first season, but missed the end of the 2006/07 campaign due to a knee injury.
Hall, 27, penned a four-and-a-half year deal with Rangers at the start of the 2008 January transfer window. QPR
