Glenn Hoddle has told QPR he is not interested in taking over as manager at Loftus Road.
Rangers approached the former England boss after cooling their interest in Glenn Roeder, who had emerged as a possible alternative to a number of big-name Italians being considered for the job.
Barring a rethink from Hoddle or speculative approaches for a couple of managers already in charge of Championship clubs unexpectedly bearing fruit, Rangers are now set to snub a host of English candidates and look to the continent.
