"...Despite the shortage in numbers, Aitken ruled out the possibility of fringe squad players such as Neil Danns, Martin Taylor and Rowan Vine being added to the squad with the trio seemingly set to depart St. Andrew's.
"Purely because the latter two have been out on loan and there are several clubs showing an interest in them," he explained.
"Whether that bubbles up before the weekend, I don't know because it can often take until the end of the month before things are done.
