Wigan Defender Fitz Hall Joins QPR
-
Sporting Life/Peter Fraser - QPR SEAL HALL SIGNING
Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Wigan defender Fitz Hall.
The 27-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract at Loftus Road after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Hall has struggled to secure first-team football at Wigan this season and he has made only two appearances for the Latics this campaign.
The centre-back becomes the latest acquisition for QPR as manager Luigi De Canio makes full use of the January transfer window.
Rangers have already clinched deals for Patrick Agyemang, Hogan Ephraim, Akos Buzsaky, Matthew Connolly, Gavin Mahon and Kieran Lee as De Canio bids to build a squad capable of moving away from the Championship relegation zone.
Hall began his career at Barnet before moving to Oldham, Southampton and Crystal Palace ahead of joining Wigan in 2006. Sporting Life

At what point does QPR become Chelsea, Jr.? An old saying goes: "money changes everything". Maybe it was a Cyndi Lauper song title. Doesn't matter for purpose of my rant...
This is all too much, too fast. People, like football clubs, should grow in stages and not become adults overnight.
Don't get me wrong. I would like to see the Club grow and prosper. I'm just concerned that sudden growth with undermine the essential character of the existing group.
Who am I kidding? There will be little left of the existing squad once the buying binge is over...
